Steven Harrington’s “Our Mountain” exhibition has been traveling Europe all of last year. For the exhibition Element had produced a couple of special Cruiser skateboard decks. Now Element will release the boards, reproductions of the originals from the show in new colorways, as well as regular boards with Harrington’s artwork. Overall the set consists of 6 decks and should be available soon.

Shameless plugs.

Tuesday, January 20, 2009

Okay, shameless plugs, but if you read my first entry then you know this is subliminal so you are not even aware you are doing this, you will just feel a sudden urge to go to www.westbeach.com and join the newsletter at the bottom of the page so you can win free jackets and related shit.

You will also suddenly feel the need to scratch an unreachable itch and in doing so will go to http://signalcrewne.com/home and check out the regional page Signal has started for the northeast. It's apparently still being worked on but looks good to me. While at it the itch will only finally be put to rest by .....oh wait, I've run out of shameless plugs for now. Well if you checked out the www.party-works.ca page and think you'll be in Collingwood this Friday then you could always try and sweet talk me in to putting you on the guest list. It won't be that hard, just a little human contact is all I really need.

Time to quit procrastinating and get back to putting together the Drop glove sample set for tomorrows booking appointments. More on all that later.

....all "Marked" up

Jan 20th,2009

Unofficial congratulations to Elliot Catton for his successes at last weekends Nor Ams snowboard competition out west (Calgary??). Will update further when I have more information.

Several Vert riders were at the Meltdown competition last Saturday as well. Couldn't make it myself but it sounded like a well run event and a fun time.

Signal, Westbeach, Drop, Gordini, Celsius, Union Binding and Alcatraz team rider Bradley Hesson was busy filming instead. Check out his exploits at http://pritulaphoto.blogspot.com/ and at http://www.antigravitysk8shop.com/sess/utn;jsessionid=1549752fc109c4f/shopdata/index.shopscript

If you are up in Collingwood this Friday the 23rd, head to Skool and Gel for the first in a series of Monster Energy Parties run by Andi Roth from Pary Works. There will be tonnes of free prizes handed out. Check out www.party-works.ca for details and updates. Special thanks to Signal, Celsius, Westbeach, Gordini and Drop for a tonne of prizes for these events. That's all for this update.

Holy, shit. Here goes my bloginity.......POP!!!

This first post is about nothing. Blah, blah, blah......started my own blog......blah, blah, blah....... gonna say something about snowboarding.........blah, blah, blah gonna post lots of subliminal advertising for the companies my sales agency represents (but you didn't really read that, after all, it's subliminal)..............blah, blah, blah gonna put of lots of really neat pics and videos of kids who pester me constantly for free gear (squeaky wheel gets the grease guys).............blah, blah, blah the end for today. Hey, don't hate, I gotta build the page first before I write anything clever and witty.

The "mark" of excellence..........(insert skid "mark" joke here).
